This is probably one of the most interesting apps that I first found on my android phone.Learning a new language as a hobby or seriously can be easily achieved with the help of this app.It took a while but Duolingo is finally available in Windows 8 since November 2013.It is absolutely suitable for children and adults likewise.You can access your account either from mobile or the website ad continue learning anyday.
So here is the app breakdown :
Pros:Free & No ads / No Premium account
Lots of options for languages(Spanish,German,Portuguese,Dutch,French.etc)
Easy and improved learning techniques-Repetition is the key
Great interface-Both on website and app
Daily goals, graphs,linglots(some kind of gems awarded), streak maintenence provide
motivation.
Cons:A minor setback of having different kinds of progress bars on the app and the website.
Overall it is really entertaining and a must try for all language-lovers.
